Warm and cosy with lovely log fires - there is a large barn function room which was beautifully decorated for Christmas- really welcoming staff - good service - the food was disappointing- we had the Christmas menu at £34 for 3 courses, my beetroot and goat cheese tart had no goats cheese and a teeny tiny amount of beetroot- the turkey was delicious however the roasties went soggy with all the rest of the meal piled on top of them the sprouts were so hard I don’t think they...read full review
Had an amazing lunch at the Roebuck on a Saturday afternoon. Excellent home cooked food (huge portions).Friendly staff and a good choice of drinks both soft and alcoholic. Nice garden with play area and an open fire for cosy cold days. A little more pricey than some pubs but definitely worth it.We had pie of the day and Sussex smokie.... Perfect.

Had lunch in the pub last weekend with family. Friendly welcome and served immediately at bar for drinks. Cosy table in a corner which was handy with a young nephew. Had an enormous portion of battered cod & chips. Only slight comment would be to let the oil drain a bit more from the fish as there was quite a bit on plate. Others had pies which went down well too.
