Went with 3 friends to this lovely pub and had a roast dinner I had the pork loin with crackling and it was absolutely fabulous so delicious the cracking was amazing 2 friends had the nut roast they also loved it and said it was wonderful 1 friend had the turkey which was also delicious the staff were wonderful to Becca and Dean thank you so much and to the Chef Travis thanks for 4 wonderful meals I will definitely eat here again and come often as well the atmosphere was lovely...read full review

Excellent Sunday roast after completing the South Downs Way.Potatoes and veg were excellent, very well cooked. Beef was a little tough but tasty. I'll definitely be back here for a roast if I'm in Eastbourne again.

We popped in for a drink on a Sunday evening to appreciate the lovely old building. A good selection of beers, with Harvey's and Long Man cask beers. The music was not the high point of the evening, soft rap lift music played at sufficient volume to make us think that one drink was enough. I know it's all personal taste, but what atmosphere is being aimed for here?
