We went to Toby Carvery for Christmas Day lunch. We thought it was everything we could possibly want. It was well-organised, not crowded, the front-of-house staff were welcoming, the food was superb and we will definitely come again next year!

Staff were really lovely today after my car had a flat battery and was stranded with my 8 month old, let me sit in there after on a quiet table to feed her whilst she napped and I awaited a friend to jump start my car. Roast we had previously was lovely. Can confirm the salt shakers work very well (noticed it was a moan from before on a review).Only moan is it smelt a bit like a post office but would assume that was down to the age of the clientele surrounding our table. ??‍♀️

Thought we'd have a nice hot meal seeing as it was 1:40. The beef was chewedy, pork a little dry ,Brussels and carrots warm , potatoes awful. Could barely cut them ,when I did had to scrape out the soft potato and leave the rest...,the gravy dregs in one pot....luke warm.. such a shame we were really looking forward to it..The staff were pleasant enough ,but we had to go an ask where our drinks were...very ? disappointed.
