Good food, fresh fish and chips, had a fairly longish wait for our meal, waitress did apologise for wait though. Place wasn’t at that time very busy either. All in all, nothing to complain about, toilets immaculate.
A proper seaside fish n chips. Food great with service to match. Was there yesterday with my granddaughter. A very family friendly place to eat. This is going to be our new regular on our future day trips to HastingsKid-friendliness: My granddaughter dropped her sausage on the floor. They replaced it free of charge. The waitress said they do this as a policy because they know what it like with children. I thought that standard of customer service had long gone. ??

Visited yesterday for the first time since 2010. While it was always the best fish bar on the seafront, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it had Improved with the passage of time. I had what was the best cod and chips ever and can’t wait for my next visit.
