Found this gem of a pub whilst staying for a few days in the local area. Lovely setting with a great selection of drinks and really excellent food! The local cider (Black Pig) became a firm favourite with my husband.
Despite being full after two delicious courses (pea fritters ♥ followed by the steak and the beer battered fish) we ended up having dessert too... totally worth it because the sticky toffee pudding and the chocolate cookie dough cheesecake were fantastic!
We were made to feel super welcome by the landlords and staff. We'll definitely be visiting again!
