A pub that makes you feel welcome, offering drinks a lower prices compared to Lewes Town centre, and the food is excellent, pleasant polite staff, above all a that is a nice place to be.
What a great find! Looking for a pub for a traditional type of lunch and lucked upon here. Very pretty, with a large well kept garden. Very clean and very friendly. The food was amazing. My son in law and I both had ploughman's lunches and personally speaking, it was the best one that I had had for many years. We will definitely be coming here again.

Made to feel welcome from the minute i walked in was served almost straight away. Lovely atmosphere with locals. Good surroundings with pool table and a decent outdoor undercover seating area with heating points. ? would 100% recommend also has a good option for drinks. Music and the odd boogie at the weekend
