I have had 3 roasts in the last 6 weeks at the Griffin, The Hurstwood and the Foresters and this in by far my favourite for food. Also the value is also the best. Not saying the others are bad just this is the best!
Warning! Be aware of the blond girl serving as she’s very clever at conning you. She over charges, and when questioned she taps away at the till and creates figures for each item. Unacceptable. We also noticed she asked every customer who came in if they wanted to start a tab, even if this was just for drinks. This is a warning sign. Check your receipts carefully.

Have eaten here a couple of times recently first time as a couple, was so impressed with the food we took the whole family back for a birthday meal. Again the food did not disappoint, Sunday roast was excellent, starters, desserts everything was lovely. Staff very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning, hopefully soon.
