This is a lovely country pub, in the middle of nowhere! Its reputation takes you there.Nice open fire, which adds to the atmosphere. Food is rustic and cooked from scratch. I had heard about this pub & as we moved relatively close by a year ago thought it was time to give it a try. It is rural so you will need to drive. A car park is available & beer garden for spring/summer. Not a traditional pub in my opinion. Not somewhere you would go for a drink at the bar & conversation with friends as such. We had an amazing meal on Sunday. The food was wonderful and so was the service. They were super busy and all the staff were all so attentive and helpful. Absolutely recommend and we will be back very soon! Thank you ☺️Kid-friendliness: We had 5 children with us and all the staff were so lovely about having them around.
