The Red Lion
Denbigh Rd, Hooe, BattleMyself and my partner had Sunday lunch at the Red Lion 11th August. We were served by a very polite young lady, Ava.
Ava was super polite and helpful. She brought our drinks out promptly and was more visible than the other waiting staff.
The food there is really tasty and lovely atmosphere. We’ll definitely be going again.
My only criticism is that the menue on their webpage isn’t up to date as it’s only a “sample menu” though we enjoyed the food, it was the on line menu which made us want to go. It would be beneficial if this was current as it could be the difference between people going there or not.

The White Hart Inn
The Green, Catsfield, BattleIts a nice country pub good food nice service and a decent selection of beers, wines and spirits. With a garden and parking you can't go wrong for the money if you go out for a meal with your family or beers with your mates it's a great boozer.
