Six of us dined here and what a superb meal we had. The surprise of the amuse- bouche, lovely fresh bread and then the starters and meals themselves. Highly recommend the lobster risoni starter and the Guinea fowl although those that had the venison loved that too. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The service was excellent. Every element of our dinner was utterly delicious. Imaginative combinations beautifully presented. Friendly and efficient service. Went on the recommendation of Toby our host at the Windmill B and B and he was so right!

Best in Rye, excellent food. Service was lovely, efficient and friendly, they make you feel special and quite privileged. The restaurant is beautifully presented and low key, putting the attention on the food. The food was beautiful, imaginative and varied. The vegetarian with us had choice, which can still be unusual in some restaurants. Beautiful restaurant, definitely a new favourite.
