This was our first visit to Webbe's. What an absolute delight. We started off with Oysters, followed by prawns and a fish board which consisted of: Pickled Herring, Potted Shrimp, Prawns and Smoked Mackerel Pate, Squid Fritters, what a feast! For our main course we both had Roast Loin of Monkfish wrapped in Prosciutto with Tagliatelle, Pak Choi, Courgettes, Basil Sauce. Absolutely divine. Then of course we had to have dessert . Fabulous, unique fish and seafood dishes in a smart ambience. Service was very attentive and we appreciated the variety of wines and Gins available, too. The monkfish loin main was a personal favourite!

Great fish restaurant right opposite the Stave fishing beach in Hastings The Dover sole was the best we've ever eaten and the maitre was excellent. Service was just right. Relation price to quality was very good. Two bottles of decent red were drunk and the price per couple , with tip , was 100 GBP
