We certainly landed on our feet in choosing this family run hotel for one night. Everyone happy to help. Nothing too much trouble. The accommodation was situated slightly away from the main building. We stayed in a prettily furnished “cottage” room which initially had no heat in the bathroom and the toilet wouldn’t flush! However, this was dealt with promptly and the heating was still on, even when we returned at midnight! That was a relief!Our breakfast was really good....read full review

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. The fish and chips were delightful and the haddock fish cakes are packed full of flavour. My friend who is picky on where she eats absolutely loved their chocolate brownie, sniffing it in delight and was happy to find a lemon wedge with the fish as she was mentioning how so many places she's been to don't.

What a gem of a pub! Staff all so happy to be there, service exceptional and pub inside and out and tastefully furnished and immaculately clean. A magical outdoor beer garden lights up at night. The food and menu are of the highest standard from the rocking 80s kitchen. Well done to Steve and team you have a great pub ?
