Been a couple of times for celebration events here, nice local pub with a decent pool table. Great outside area with loads of seating with sun shaded areas. Friendly staff, would come again
Visited here yesterday for the first time with my husband and step-daughter and her husband. Initially we were put off when we realised they only offered roasts on a Sunday (and it really wasn't roast dinner weather as it was so hot); but boy are we glad we stayed. Now, I am very hard to please when it comes to roast dinners but I can honestly say that it was one of the nicest roast dinners I have ever eaten. The gravy was delicious, as were the yorkies. We attended an engagement party at the Tulip it was a nice pub with ample parking. Had pool and darts of a good standard. The pub itself is a bit out of the way though. I appreciate it was busy but at times there was around a 5 to 10 min wait to be served.
