I used to be a regular here before I moved away. I was in the area visiting family, so thought I would pick some food up to take home as we always really enjoyed it.I did not recognise the woman that served me today, but she was a little unfriendly at best. She charged me £12 for a dish that on the menu was £10. I tried to politely query this, and she said that's not our prices. I pointed out its from the menu. Do yourself a favor and eat here. The food is interesting and different, but over all, incredibly good. I wish I lived closer to Colchester so I could come more often. The atmosphere is great and the staff are very welcoming and efficient, they make you feel like home. The prices were very, very affordable.Can't possibly recommend this place more, what are you waiting for?Vegetarian options: Really good and varied vegetarian options

The jollof rice and grilled fish was extremely tasty, freshly cooked, well seasoned, and generous in portion. Great presentation! I cannot wait to taste more of their offerings, particularly their soups.The customer service was friendly and responsive.
