Lovely pub if you want to go out and talk. We like to meet here before we go dancing or a pub crawl because it's quiet but not boring. They often have live music but the music is a little dated.
We had a mid week visit so it was rather quiet. Small choice of real ales, not all on top form! Given the location of this pub it seams to attract a younger student crowd. Four empty cans found at our table... On a Wednesday.Pool table availability, small beer garden. Toilets upstairs and nearby parking at St Mary's multi storey. They have just started doing Pie, mash and liquor! Very generous portions for a very reasonable price. I’m fussy about mash, and this was smoooth! I had the vegetarian option with a lovely parsley sauce. Tasty! Meat and vegan options are available. Also, a great pub, locals and staff are super friendly. I will be back for a meat fix soon!
