I've been a regular customer of Kismet for 15 years now, and I've not found another Indian restaurant or takeaway, not just in Colchester but anywhere, that beats it. Onion bhajis are the best i've ever tasted. It would be great if they would open a restaurant one day.
After searching long and hard for the very best Indian cuisine in Colchester - I finally found it some time a go and have never visited anywhere else since. This review is well over due and I feel ashamed to not have left this sooner. Admittedly it’s a take away - not a restaurant......but I live very close to it and it works perfectly for me. My friend.. order a take away on the..22/8/20 ... having looking at the ratings ...he order a prawn curry pilau rice nan bread etc..he said the prawn curry was foul...he had to bin the lot of it .he said ..not good..not fresh... Never again
