Often eat from here and am never disappointed with the food and quality (would give 5 stars except that they don't put ANY chilli in to spice things up when asked for extra chilli). One reasons why I consider this one of the best takeaways in the area is that it doesn't provide a delivery service. Most of the delivery service Chinese takeaways produce appalingly bad food and worse, because fewer people actually visit them premises are shoddy. A few places on the Hythe Hill in Colchester, for example, should be shut down. Sea View produces food that actually tastes real (and I lived in the Orient for 10 years). Generally good food and service. Some experiences of slower service but not often. I would advise phoning ahead to save on waiting time. Card payments now accepted, which is a good improvement.
