6 of us stayed 2 nights for a family wedding in the area. Friendly staff from start to finish, meal on the Friday night was delicious. All 3 rooms great. Excellent breakfasts both mornings. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back, thankyou.
A Beautiful building with plenty of character in a small picturesque market town. Centrally located with lots to do in and around Saffron Walden. Staff are pleasant and friendly but give yourself plenty of time when ordering food and drinks as the service is very slow even during quieter times.

All I can say is discombobulated Starters, no cutlery Mine is the same the most popular Pinot Gris show none in the fridge , Unfortunately staff are the same as most pubs and restaurants lately not trained Management should spend a little bit more time and make it easier for the staff as well for the customer.
