2 Coast Rd, West Mersea, ColchesterGreat coffee but the Service was poor. The sign inside says table service, but as the waiter kept avoiding eye contact we had to order in doors. I hope this was a one off....

St Cedds Clubhouse
E End Rd, SouthminsterLove gigging here. Very family friendly. Kate and Saul have really improved the outside areas and run family fun days with music and bbq etc. Club house is good too. Bradwell is very pretty. Worth a visit.

Victoria Esplanade, West Mersea, ColchesterGem of a place. Nicely located on the seafront. Easy access to beach. Good food, reasonable prices. Lovely ice creams and lovely staff too (great customer service, thank you)

Mersea Island Fish Bar
37 High St, West Mersea, ColchesterWe previously had a couple of poor experiences here and have not been for some while. We decided to give it another chance and so pleased we did. The fish was cooked fresh and was delicious. Large meaty chunks of cod. The batter was crisp and not at all greasy. The chips were also well cooked. The staff were very friendly and professional. It’s not cheap but then you get what you pay for. We will definitely go back.

Coastal Coffee West Mersea
1 Yorick Rd, West Mersea, ColchesterPopped in for a coffee and it was easily one of the best on the island. Marina prepared our coffee with a lot of care and attention
She is incredibly friendly, greeting us with a warm smile. She clearly knows all the locals, which made us feel even more welcomed as visitors from London. A lovely experience all round.
