Fantastic dinner at Foston’s Ash. Super friendly service, cosy and charming with amazing food. Love the menu showcases local produce so well. We all ate very well!! Highly recommended.
What a great place to have just a stones throw from Painswick. Well worth booking a table if you’re visiting the area or if you’re a local for that matter!The new refurbishment has really given this lovely pub a new lease of life.. it welcomes both drinkers and diners. And what a welcome, the staff are amazing - super on it and attentive.The steak was perfection, the bar snacks delish… I will most certainly be returning and can’t wait to enjoy the garden in the summer...read full review

Our meal was excellent, The pork was delicious and cooked to perfection. The beef was wonderful and tender. The mushroom pie looked delicious. But to have a Yorkshire pudding on the same plate was a bit much for our 93 year old guest. The staff were wonderful . Great Mothers Day Lunch.
