Had a Day out at Cotswold Driving experience ,was looking for somewhere to have lunch came across the highwayman , lovely staff very welcoming had lovely meals no complaints from us , full stomachs nice drive back to Cheshire ??

Really nice country pub, captive audience because there are no competitors in easy walking distance. When we went the outaide space had a table on its side and glasses in the garden but they could have been there 2 minutes before we arrived to be fair.
The food is good quality but soft drinks and sides are really expensive! That said main meals like the bear and ale pie are at a really fair price point.
Service is great and decor is on point, toilets, tables and floors are clean and the real fire in winter/spring is awesome.

we stayed 2 knights this week never stayed before. A lovey old pub nice and clean very friendly staff room very nice. The bar area was nice friendly and warm drinks great.We had dinner on both nights and the food was delicious. Breakfast also very nice hot and fresh .Thanks for a great stay we will be back.Room 24 and 4. mick and Steve.

Dog friendly both inside and outside. A decent selection of cafe food like ice creams and cakes, and dog ice cream.

Parking is really confusing because there always used to be parking meters but now it's pay before you leave, no ticket needed.

Toilets are on site but not in the cafe.

It's all you can ask for in a spot like this: no nonsense, it's not fancy, but it doesn't need to be.
