Staying local and found this place via Google, a nice little country pub.I had steak and my wife ribs, both were fantastic cooked to perfection. Plenty of chips on the plate rather than a handful.Service was very friendly and helpful.My only gripe was a handful of small kids running about screaming, not the pubs fault I suppose but that's why the lower score for atmosphere.

Nice pub, Decent sized meals and tasted pretty decent but nothing spectacular. Staff were also very professional and kind and dealt with allergies very well.I got a side of mushrooms which I was a little disappointed with as I only got 6 small mushrooms but not too big a deal.Good if you’re looking for a decent sized meal with lovey staff.Dietary restrictions: Good with allergies very helpfulParking: Free parking lots of spaces

Great place to get a carvery.Didn't get a chance to book and turned up on the chance there would be a table. The staff were very helpful and found a table for us, although in future it would be better to book on a sunday. They confirmed that they could do gluten free and vegetarian carvery. 2 gluten free yorkshire puddings were brought out on a separate plate with a jug of gravy. All the gluten containing dishes were kept separate from the meat and veg with their own serving spoons....read full review
