5 North St, Winchcombe, CheltenhamAmazing food, and the most wonderful atmosphere. Last night, we went for the 7 course taster menu as a birthday treat, and it was such an amazing experience in every respect. The food was quite incredible, from the Welsh Rarebit appetiser through to the desserts, every part of the menu was fresh and exciting.
The atmosphere also was perfect for this type of dining, intimate and personal, and there was the constant feeling that the table servers cared greatly about the guests in the dining room.
Gus was fantastic with the guests through the night too. It was brilliant having the chance to meet the man that put the menu together and cooked such amazing food for us, and such a down to earth person. It was lovely to have the chance to speak with Gus and the brilliant staff following the meal, and ended up buying his book which is a brilliant read and highly recommended.
Thank you all for a memorable experience, couldn't speak higher of the restaurant and how much we enjoyed the evening.

Abbey Terrace, Winchcombe, CheltenhamA great local experience, always friendly place to meet locals and get cosy near the fire place without being too overwhelmingly Busy. It's a lovely place after a long day's walk or cycling thanks to it's proximity to Cleeve Hill.

The Corner Cupboard
83 Gloucester St, Winchcombe, CheltenhamGreat pub with decent real ales. The restaurant served great home cooked pub classics including proper pie of the day with a top and a bottom. Great service, enjoyed banter and honest opinions about what to order.
Definitely a place to revisit.

Lots of super delights in the deli counter I bought some feta cheese and it was superb

Castle Cafe
Sudeley Castle, Winchcombe, CheltenhamThe cafe is in the beautiful outer grounds of the castle and the car park is large and free.
Stopped in for a coffee before walking into Winchecombe. It was on a Sunday morning and reasonably quiet. The service was good and we noted that they had plenty of food options. The coffee was what I would call okay and we had it on the terrace outside the visitor centre. Very clean toilets are avaliable in the visitor centre.
