Lovely service and excellent food. Parking can be found outside on the double yellow (no parking wardens after 4pm) or the market square. Each course is thought out and delicious. I was full after a seven course tasting menu, we opted out of the cheese course and bill kindly reflected this. There were also canapés and homemade bread, delicious! Liberty was front of house and did an excellent job at looking after us all. I would come here to eat anytime.Vegetarian options: With notice the chef can prepare a tasting menu to reflect your dietary choiceParking: You can park on the double yellow after 4pm- no traffic wardens

The Plaisterers Arms in Winchcombe exceeded all our expectations and became the highlight of our trip. Nestled in the charming town of Winchcombe, this pub and B&B offers an unparalleled experience of warmth and authenticity. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with genuine hospitality by the lovely landlady Liz and her team.My friends and I have made a pact that whenever we return for our annual golf weekend at Cleeve, there's no other place we'd rather stay. The Plaisterers Arms has won us over with its charm, hospitality, and impeccable service. If you're searching for a quintessential English pub experience with a touch of magic, look no further than the Plaisterers ArmsFood & drinks: A great selection of quality drinks to enjoy by the fire.

William's of Winchcombe

This is a shop, deli and cafe rolled into one.The shop itself is nice, the layout and atmosphere are pleasant. We ate brunch here and had an assortment of foods including a bacon sandwich, toastie and quiche. We were advised the deli options were available hot or cold to eat in or take away however there were tag on prices for eating the product hot. As the prices were already rather high for the product we were receiving I would suggest this additional levy is unnecessary. The seating is not ideal, chairs and table heights are a bit awkward in my opinion. The food itself was perfectly fine. The staff didn't offer sugar or spoons for our coffees and seemed put out that we might want more than one sugar which is unfortunate and I am sure we just caught them on a bad day.

We wanted to experience everything that the volunteer-run railway had. We were pleased with the restaurant at Winchcombe, one of the stations on the railway line. I chose a coronation chicken roll, which was full to the brim with small chunks of chicken in a delicious sauce. I said 'full to the brim' but none of it squeezed out onto my hands. I loved it. The tea was freshly made. The staff (not 'staff') volunteers were friendly and informative. We liked their waistcoats too!

I was looking for somewhere to meet up with my children over the festive period. After a short search on Tripadvisor I found the Corner Cupboard. I was the first to arrive and was greeted warmly by the staff. I said a small group of us would be eating and they moved tables to accommodate us. A fine selection of real ales and a well stocked bar. When my children and partners arrived we settled down to great choices on the menu. We were not rushed to choose and soaked in the atmosphere of the place. We had the Liver and Bacon, a ploughman’s, lasagne, fish and chips and ham egg and chips. All well presented and tasty. No complaints! A couple of us went for the dessert menu and were not disappointed by the sticky toffee pudding, a generous portion of light sponge with loads of custard. A good value meal, good drinks choice, lovely attentive staff makes this a definite go to place for anyone looking to eat or drink whilst in the area. I’m looking forward to returning one day.

We had a late lunch there a few weeks ago. We were served the best hotdogs ever! No way near an American hotdog, everything from the roll to the topping and the hotdog itself, which was more like a delicious sausage. Very enjoyable!
