The Plaisterers Arms
Abbey Terrace, Winchcombe, CheltenhamWe just had a lovely stay here on our thru-hike on The Cotswold Way. Our host, a lovely Irish lady showed us to a very large room above the pub, very clean with a nice big comfortable bed. Lovely view over the countryside from our room too! We were served the most amazing breakfast by our lovely host, she had home made bread that my husband said was the best bread he’s ever eaten! Would highly recommend staying here, no complaints from us, we’d love to stay here again.

37 North St, Winchcombe, CheltenhamLovely cosy pub, great staff who were really friendly and attentive and some great beers. Had a Friday evening meal and as veggies we shared a bunch of starters and side dishes which were all really tasty. Went back for Sunday lunch after a long walk and although there was a bit of confusion over our last minute booking the team sorted us out with no hesitation on what was obviously a super busy day. Delicious home cooked roast, which we often find hard to come by as vegetarians. Thanks for a lovely few visits!

12 North St, Winchcombe, CheltenhamAnother visit today still very good coffee, we also had a really tasty toasted sandwich each however, if you are going to put a side salad on the plate it's not nice when it looks like it's yesterday's salad. Also if you want people to tip it might be better to ask for a tip after they eat but glad I didn't tip as that side salad looked disgusting. Shame as the sandwiches and coffee were really good.
