Lovely pub with a pretty beer garden. Very welcoming and dog-friendly. Lovely lunch at a reasonable price.Vegetarian options: Two vegetarian options on the menu - one was suitable for vegans
Out of the dozens of pubs we visited on our trip to England, this was our favorite. The publican spun vinyls while we enjoyed our pints. The atmosphere was was laid back and the food was terrific pub fare. The decor and furnishings are classic and the apple pie was perfect. We could not have asked for a better experience for our last night.

An excellent village pub. Perfect selection of ales. Staff are friendly, the decor is comfy, warm and welcoming. Food is great, priced very well, and always flavoured and presented well. I could write lots more, but it would be an essay. Do visit, its worth the stop.Parking: Plenty of parking on site or near by.Kid-friendliness: Children are welcome, staff are great with them. And they can meet dietary needs.
