Still excellent beer and food. Had a pot meal.
Pub has been extended which it had always needed. Pretty busy on a Saturday from 12-5.30pm. Maybe 2 x 10m quiet slots but never overcrowded.
Shame I live further away now ?
But will enjoy it more when I am over that way.

4 North St, CarshaltonFirst time coming here for Sunday dinner after hearing recommendations. Roast pork was superb. I always find pubs gravy very watery but this was one of the best! Friendly staff and good food. Only little critique was the service charge already included as we like to do separately and think people should be given a choice is the only criticism.

Everyone there is lovely and welcoming and the food is tasty.
I wasn't a big fan of the seafood skewers...but that's because it wasn't to my taste, as the rest of our group actually loved. I prefer saucy dishes. The prawn pasta, seafood pasta, lasagne, Bolognese and pomodoro have all been a hit and the cocktail was the perfect amount of sweet and alcoholic. I have not tried desert yet, so one for next time.
But would definitely highly recommend.

The Windsor Castle
378 Carshalton Rd, CarshaltonHad lunch today with some friends, they have delicious small plates you can pick from (3 for £19.90 or 5 for £29.95). Everything was very good and super tasty. Victoria, the new manager, is so lovely and made us feel welcome. The new head chef Andrew came out of the kitchen for a chat and asked how the food was, honestly that never happened to me before. Overall, 5 stars experience, well done guys!

People moaning about Curry leaf need to get out & eat in at an “eat in” restaurant rather than take the “uber” route. I’ve had a few takeaways from here & walked it home (10minutes walk). Lovely scoff pleasant service, what’s not to like?

The Sunday Roasts were fantastic, very generous portions (even extra yorkshires offered on to of the gigantic first one ?). Very high quality - tongue in cheek issue that it was so good it left very little room for dessert which also looked great.
Highly recommended and will be regular return visitors no doubt

We didn't order much as I was with my young daughter but still felt very welcome. Cakes are delightful as was chai latte. Kids menu available with lots of choices. Interior and crockery is so cute and pretty. Love coming to this local business and always try to whenever we have time! Highly recommended.

Food was cooked there and then, was worth the short wait in the shop for perfect chips. Will definitely use again. Not often, you don't get given chips that have sat in oil for a while. Took home and enjoyed our meal.
