A very well run, clean pub with excellent food and a friendly relaxed atmosphere. We came here for Mother's day and all had fantastic meals. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I only popped in for a quick pint as havent been here since the Whelans takeover. Really friendly service which is a Whelans standard but was great to see here after it being a large chain pub experience the last time. *Update - the Whelans effect is still going strong with great service and good drinks!

Visited on a Thursday evening. Had a few beers with friends.The pub is clean with plenty of space, only a few minutes from transport etcetera. We also had some food, just starter plates as snacks with the drinks which was good quality. I'll definitely return.
