Have eaten here many times over the years, and never been disappointed. Food and service are outstanding, the views are lovely, and the light filled space during the day makes me happy. The porridge is particularly a favorite of mine; perfectly cooked and seasoned, I can't say enough about it.
Came here for an afternoon tea with a friend. The afternoon tea itself was great, all the food was lovely and there was a good selection of tea to choose from. However, the service really let this place down. We waited at least 45 minutes for our food to be brought to us after ordering - by this time we’d almost finished the tea we’d been served and we weren’t offered a top up. Tea time here is awesome- love their scotch egg. Came back here for their beef Wellington. Of course it is delicious, but my another highlight is the side dish- truffle matched potato.
