It is a nice and busy pub near the Trafalgar Square. It could use more staff because the waiting times are horrendous, not just for the food but to aknowledge you at the bar too. We had a fish&chips and a traditional pie with a beer and a cider. The food was good but turned from luke warm to cold very fast. We've waited for it more than 1 and a half hour or more! It is unfortunate because the flavours were great but the quantity of the meat in the pie was a joke for this price.

The Sherlock Holmes Public House on Northumberland Street London is a great pub to drop in for either drinks or to dine.This recent visit was the second time we have been to The Sherlock. Make a reservation ahead of time, this pub gets really busy! The food is delicious and just what we needed after a rainy day. We got some scotch eggs and a steak and kidney pie with mash. Very filling!To top it off, they have a great selection of beers and ciders. We got a ginger beer and mango cider which was amazing!Lots of Sherlock Holmes themed posters around the pub. Fun place to get a beer!
