Perfectly pleasant and the food was good quality and tasty, and reasonably priced. The staff could have been more attentive and better prepared for our booking, but considering how busy the place was, did a decent job.
Simply the best roast in South London! I used to live in Sydenham 4 years ago and Sunday Roast at the Greyhound was one of the things I missed the most when I left London. So when today I had the opportunity to visit the area again, I jumped at the chance to go back. And it was such a delight to find that this pub still remains an absolute gem. Such a lovely pub and very child friendly. The staff are super attentive and it has a great atmosphere. The battered cod is possibly the best I’ve ever eaten. We moved house recently and location to The Greyhound actually played a part in our decision.Kid-friendliness: Our kids love this place. “The one with the dogs!” as our five-year old calls it.
