We went for family lunch. It was fantastic .We sat upstairs and we had a great view of the Thames. I had the roast beef and my son and his girlfriend ordered the lamb .We all had sticky toffee pudding .The food was lovely and the ambience
We have family nearby so eat here every few months. The food might be ok rather than something to make a special trip for but the setting (a pleasant walk along the river in warmer weather or a 15 minute bus ride from London Bridge Station when the Overground isn’t working) and service mean we keep coming back. Popped in for a few pints of Orchard Thieves Cider on a recent stroll around Rotherhithe. Great drinks, friendly staff, great prices and a brilliant decor and ambiance. The view towards the city of London from the terrace is worth a visit alone. Its a great pub.
