We had pre booked a table at the restaurant Our greeting was slightly rude as we were told that we only have the table for an hour and a half rather abruptly. We were shown to our table and waited 15 minutes for our drinks order to be taken, we ordered food at the same time. Our starter came fairly quickly. Upon arrival, the atmosphere lacked warmth and the front staff seemed disengaged. The meal was average—decent meatballs but the lasagne my friend ordered appeared underwhelming. Disappointingly, her bruschetta lacked the usual pesto topping, unlike another Zizzi location where it was included as a delightful garnish. Pizza's were delicious! Service was fast which was great as we only had an hour to eat before a show.We felt very sorry for the staff who were running around like headless chickens due to the fact they were very short staffed! Regardless of this fact they were very friendly and welcoming.Would come back here again.
