We went with the butter chicken and sea bass & crabmeat moilee as our mains and they were both out of this world. It was worth the cab ride out from Knightsbridge. Suggest you go here unhesitatingly.

Our experience was also elevated by the welcoming and attentive service - the waitress (sorry we didn’t catch your name) very kindly offered a Bailey’s on the house as the coffee machine was closed for the night - we’ll definitely be back.
You might miss the restaurant as it’s not in a busy part of Twickenham but would highly recommend (and get the tiramisu!!!) :)

10 Station Approach, RichmondPizza Express remains one of my favourite go to casual dining experiences. The location between the gardens and the station makes it easy to reach and a good choice after a walk around Kew.
The vegan menu is separate and changes often so it’s worth asking for. There was no aubergine when we visited, but there were still enough options. I shared the dough balls with omnivores which isn’t always possible, so I appreciate the dietary accommodation!
Service was friendly. The staff adjusted the menu to suit preferences and made sure everything was right. Both our server and the maître d’ checked in, which was appreciated. Our leftovers were boxed up without trouble.

22 Church St, TwickenhamI was in London in March for a family trip, and I discovered this fantastic place that exactly encapsulates the Neapolitan cuisine, from the first courses, to pizza and dessert. so I can say that I have absolutely not missed our cuisine. the gnocchi with meat sauce are served directly in the pan still hot! as for the pizza I tasted both a simple daisy but also a more elaborate as the sausage and friarielli, nothing to say about the latter. we also tried a bruschetta appetizer and finally I highly recommend the desserts (I tasted the hot chocolate heart and pistachio tiramisu and they were also great.) friendly and welcoming staff, highly recommend this place

1 Queen's Rd, Twickenham1st time and it was a lovely pub near the Rugby (and I could park my motorcycle in the street). The young staff were welcoming, even when I asked if I could have 3 pints of Naked Ladies, if I wasn't being wound up by my buddies who drink there regularly for rugby. BTW they have Erdinger in bottles, including alcohol free so I could enjoy a beer.

Obviously not allowed to spill out onto pavement so crammed into small standing space. We just stopped for drinks so can't comment on food. It was busy and the sound system was too loud, so patrons have to shout to be heard. Suggest tone down the music, remove the charity doughnut stall and oversized hot dog stall. Despite this, it was well attended and staff were friendly and efficient.

The tables were not sticky (yay!) and carpet looked recently hoovered. I was happy I found a high top table with an outlet on the adjacent column so I could charge my phone. There was some cute holiday decor scattered throughout the pub, which had a rugby theme which I found was cool. Most of the other Spoons I have visited never really had a clear theme (just generic "sports" or history of the building/area in which they are located). There were several tvs above the bar showing sports or sports highlights. The women's toilet was not too difficult to locate, at the top of the central staircase. All the standard Spoons food and drinks. I really like the in-app ordering rather than queueing at the bar. Overall, one of the nicer Spoons that I have visited. I would return if I was in the area.

Contrary to popular belief (per silly Instagram videos), this is a chain of restaurants specializing in breakfast/lunch/brunch fare. You can either do the click and collect method or order at the location. There is not a lot of seating, but it's a grab and go or quick eats place. I ordered a cappuccino, a vegan sausage roll (I'm a fan!), and my first ever mince pie - it was 0.67p (!!!). I was surprised a place like this had several vegetarian and vegan options. Also, after I picked up a box of mince pies from Sainsburys, I noted Greggs was, in fact, better. It's quick service and great for travelers and locals on-the-go so it naturally lacks the ambiance of a café or restaurant. Tasty food, recommend especially for the hungry traveler.

The food is so good, the staff are lovely and the prices are more than reasonable. As someone who is rarely impressed by food when eating out, I’m still suprised that everything I or my friends have ordered here has been delicious, from kebabs, to burgers to fajitas. Come hungry, the portions are huge!
