Thank you Vesuvio for a lovely evening! The seafood tasted fresh and cooked to perfection, and the caprese salad was delicious. Our experience was also elevated by the welcoming and attentive service - the waitress (sorry we didn’t catch your name) very kindly offered a Bailey’s on the house as the coffee machine was closed for the night - we’ll definitely be back.

You might miss the restaurant as it’s not in a busy part of Twickenham but would highly recommend (and get the tiramisu!!!) :)

Such an amazing find!!
We live around the corner and our neighbour told us ‘A Cena is Stanley Tucci’s favourite restaurant outside of Italy’.
Now… we aren’t sure if that’s true, but I wouldn’t at all be shocked if it was! It’s lovely, with a beautiful setting, friendly staff, amazing drinks you can’t go wrong.
But the food, it’s incredible. Authentic Italian food, and not just shed loads of pasta- real Italian food. Although their pasta is also delicious.
The tiger prawns are my go to! The sea bass if amazing, the beef shin ragu…. The list goes on!

We had a Wake for 13 on Monday 12th January and the team couldn’t do enough for us
They placed us into a quiet area - a nice airy space - and they were in touch to collect our orders in advance so when we arrived the team were ready for us
Service was good and the food was superb - we had a good cross section of food - salmon fillet, hunters chicken, steak and ale pie, mushroom wellington, fish and chips, gammon steak - gluten free (my son is gluten intolerance and the team were knowledgeable and helpful)

My friends and I were looking for a place to have some quick dinner, and what a great find this was! The restaurant was clean and comfortable, the staff was warm to us and answered any questions we had, and they separated our bill without us even having to ask. The food had so much taste to it, particularly the sushi rice bowl, and the wasabi which had a really strong kick to it.

If I had any constructive criticism, I would say if they had played some music that would’ve helped fill the quietness while we were looking through the menu.

Overall, if I’m ever down in the area again I’ll be sure to come back to Ke Sushi!

Dietary restrictions: They were happy to prepare a dish for my friend who can only eat gluten-free.

Popped in today after they’d just reopened from a week’s break — yes, not every ingredient was available yet (which they explained clearly), but the team couldn’t have been more accommodating. The chef took the time to speak to us personally, offer alternatives, and make sure we left happy.

Definitely recommend the food at Thai Upon Thames! Five of us went for a family dinner, shared a couple of mixed platters for starters. We were immediately impressed with the quality, nice light batter and good standard for all the items on the platters. For mains we tried a variety of dishes, from traditional Pad Thai, Minced Chicken with Chilli & Thai Basil to a couple of more unusual dishes, Slow cooked Pork Belly and Lamb Massaman Roti. All of the food was great, better than the last couple of visits to other Thai restaurants, will be going back to try more. For starters, mains and a huge Chang each it was £31 each, a good price.

I recently had an amazing meal at Cafe Venice in Whitton. We started with the dough balls and garlic mushrooms, which set a delicious tone for the evening. The dough balls were fresh and fluffy, served warm with a dipping sauce that was the perfect balance of garlic and butter. The garlic mushrooms were rich and flavorful, a great starter that hinted at the deliciousness to come.

For mains, the tagliatelle with mushrooms and prawns in creamy sauce was superb. The pasta was perfectly al dente, with a creamy sauce that was rich but not overwhelming, letting the mushrooms and prawns shine. The pollo pizza was another hit, loaded with toppings and a perfect crust, and the rack of ribs was fall-off-the-bone tender, bursting with flavor.

To finish, we indulged in chocolate fudge cake and tiramisu. The fudge cake was decadent and satisfying, but the tiramisu was the real star. Creamy, rich, and just the right amount of sweetness—it was absolutely out of this world!

Special shoutout to the head waitress, who was exceptionally welcoming and made us feel like valued guests from start to finish. Her warm hospitality truly elevated the experience. Cafe Venice is a must-visit for anyone in Whitton!

This is a great Spoons, conveniently located in Twickenham. I was here for dinner on a Monday evening and there were plenty of tables available. The tables were not sticky (yay!) and carpet looked recently hoovered. I was happy I found a high top table with an outlet on the adjacent column so I could charge my phone. There was some cute holiday decor scattered throughout the pub, which had a rugby theme which I found was cool. Most of the other Spoons I have visited never really had a clear theme (just generic "sports" or history of the building/area in which they are located). There were several tvs above the bar showing sports or sports highlights. The women's toilet was not too difficult to locate, at the top of the central staircase. All the standard Spoons food and drinks. I really like the in-app ordering rather than queueing at the bar. Overall, one of the nicer Spoons that I have visited. I would return if I was in the area.
