We held our wedding reception here on the 2nd September and were extremely pleased with the venue, Huge thanks to Sam, Ellie, Chelsea and the team who worked so hard in the run up to and including the wedding day. Great time was had by all who attended and our guests are still raving about the food and portion sizes. Came here for dinner with a friend on a Thursday. There are plenty of tables overlooking the road and two separate spaces inside. The atmosphere is cosy.Staff was busy when we arrived and we just found ourselves a table.On Thursdays they do pub quizes but we didn't participate and decided to choose a quieter table. Our visit was superb!! Our tour group was treated royally by the staff and the food was excellent!!Our 101 year old WWII Eighth Air Force veteran was the guest of honor thanks to the gracious staff that went to the trouble of decorating a table in his honor.
