We had a great meal tonight; the food was excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. We had eaten here before and felt the same way but normally wouldn’t have seen it as particularly noteworthy. Perhaps we should have. Why? Well the restaurant wasn’t busy and that surprised us. I’d never heard of this restaurant before and booked on the strength of the reviews. We loved it. Food was delicious and service was excellent. Will definitely eat here again. Not just a bog standard Italian restaurant, seems that a lot of thought has gone into the menu which is really varied.
I have visited La Filia several times, but as I had a friend visiting from East Sussex I took her along to see what she thought. She enjoyed it so much has asked me to leave another review about her own experience. She loved the stylish simple decor, the ambience was perfect and her prawn cocktail and lobster ravioli were superb.
