The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with attentive staff who made the experience even more enjoyable. From the first bite to the last, everything felt homemade and full of love — just like a meal in the heart of Italy.
Highly recommended for anyone craving a comforting and delicious Italian meal. I’ll definitely be coming back!

She took our drinks order immediately which we like and then the food order..
she mentioned a dish which was her favourite too.
I opted for 3 small plates one being my starter.. well… they are not small portions they were very generous in size and I ended up taking some home.
My hubby had a starter and a main
Everything was tasty, presented Lovely and wholesome.
The bill was just under £60 including a Diet Coke and a j20 with lemonade top.
Well worth the visit. Value for money, plenty on the plate, friendly atmosphere

We come here almost every weekend and love it every time. Friendly and polite staff, clean and spacious (great for my husband’s wheelchair), and a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Consistency of this place what we like most. The menu is always interesting, and the dishes are colourful, thoughtfully presented, and delicious. A place we never get tired of.

All delicious.
We finished our wine on the comfy couches near the window people watching.
Very easy to find the place in the centre of Bury just a short walk from the bus station and metro.

I had roast beef and my wife lamp served on a hot plates our lunches were delicious winter vegetables crisp roast potatoes, red cabbage , mash , fresh Yorkshire pudding and delicious gravy.\nWe can highly recommend the Shoulder they have a good chef and we will be back to try more delicious menu options. The staff are genuinely friendly with smiles and caring customer attention.

I arrived with my wife and daughter and we enjoyed a great afternoon, perfect weather for enjoying the terrace, with good music and outdoor dining.
When you arrive, they ask you what you would like. Whether you would like a drink before your meal, or if you would like to eat straight away. They have some great starters that are perfect for trying a variety of dishes. In our case, we ordered a couple of starters and I ate them before taking the photo. Sorry, but my hunger betrayed me.
I definitely recommend the starters, they are spectacular! We ordered grilled sirloin and it was fresh and very tasty. Everything else, such as vegetable salads and side dishes, was served with great professionalism, one dish after another, without any hassle or waiting. The prices are relatively competitive in the area, but in this case, taking into account the cosy atmosphere of the terrace and how much we enjoyed the views around us, the price-value ratio of what was served was fair. I highly recommend this restaurant. I apologise again for uploading images of the dishes we sampled, but I will definitely return. This place is highly recommended, and I hope to help you enjoy your next visit to this lovely place!!!

Bolton St Station, Bolton St, BuryWent to the Trackside on Friday and try to make the effort to come when we can, it’s the perfect place and location. We both had the Bury Benedict, tasted brilliant, great portion size and very reasonable price. Exceptional service by both a lady and young man, who were both very friendly and kind. Table service too.
We stayed for a couple of ales, they have a great selection. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.

I had the homemade cheese and onion pie with triple cooked chips, pie was really nice, chips were ok, but I think they came out of a bag of frozen chips. Beans with both dishes were good quality. I had a pint of lager which was ice cold and very nice, my wife had the coffee, ask for it stronger unless you like weak coffee as we had to take it back and swop it. Second one was ok. All in all friendly staff, good service and good food at a reasonable price. Would go again if I was passing.

We strolled in after a wonder further down exploring, walked back to an almost empty pub, where they served us with 2 lovely hot cup of teas with some neat rum, and delicious blackcurrant with lemonade and a pack of cheese and onion crisps. Only thing is that my friend always orders on the app on her way in and despite selecting eat in its always prepped as take out and they always forget the knife for her butter!

Parking: Multi storey car park for the shopping centre with lift and stair access or other paid parking on other town centre car parks.
Kid-friendliness: Menu items specifically for children, baby change also available. Costa supports breast feeding. Staff will assist with being orders out if you have a pram etc.

The landlord and lady have created something very much needed in these modern times and I thank them for it. Food is excellent and good value, occasional weekend entertainment is always top class and the Sunday quiz is my personal highlight of the week - it's fun and everyone has a great laugh. The food was really lovely as always and the portions generous. The service is also exceptional, both friendly and efficient. There is also a lovely atmosphere here, can't wait to visit again!

And it was wonderful.
The young lady who was our server was lovely.. polite friendly with a lovely smile
She took our drinks order immediately which we like and then the food order..
she mentioned a dish which was her favourite too.
I opted for 3 small plates one being my starter.. well… they are not small portions they were very generous in size and I ended up taking some home.
My hubby had a starter and a main
Everything was tasty, presented Lovely and wholesome.
The bill was just under £60 including a Diet Coke and a j20 with lemonade top.
Well worth the visit. Value for money, plenty on the plate, friendly atmosphere

Sparking Clog

We come here almost every weekend and love it every time. Friendly and polite staff, clean and spacious (great for my husband’s wheelchair), and a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Consistency of this place what we like most. The menu is always interesting, and the dishes are colourful, thoughtfully presented, and delicious. A place we never get tired of.

Wine was very reasonably priced at £21 for a bottle of Tempranillo.
We choice 3 tapas with a side of garlic and cheese fries and macaroni cheese.
All delicious.
We finished our wine on the comfy couches near the window people watching.
Very easy to find the place in the centre of Bury just a short walk from the bus station and metro.
Highly recommend.

The Shoulder Of Mutton

I had roast beef and my wife lamp served on a hot plates our lunches were delicious winter vegetables crisp roast potatoes, red cabbage , mash , fresh Yorkshire pudding and delicious gravy.\nWe can highly recommend the Shoulder they have a good chef and we will be back to try more delicious menu options. The staff are genuinely friendly with smiles and caring customer attention.

I arrived with my wife and daughter and we enjoyed a great afternoon, perfect weather for enjoying the terrace, with good music and outdoor dining.
When you arrive, they ask you what you would like. Whether you would like a drink before your meal, or if you would like to eat straight away. They have some great starters that are perfect for trying a variety of dishes. In our case, we ordered a couple of starters and I ate them before taking the photo. Sorry, but my hunger betrayed me.
I definitely recommend the starters, they are spectacular! We ordered grilled sirloin and it was fresh and very tasty. Everything else, such as vegetable salads and side dishes, was served with great professionalism, one dish after another, without any hassle or waiting. The prices are relatively competitive in the area, but in this case, taking into account the cosy atmosphere of the terrace and how much we enjoyed the views around us, the price-value ratio of what was served was fair. I highly recommend this restaurant. I apologise again for uploading images of the dishes we sampled, but I will definitely return. This place is highly recommended, and I hope to help you enjoy your next visit to this lovely place!!!

Trackside Bar
Bolton St Station, Bolton St, BuryWent to the Trackside on Friday and try to make the effort to come when we can, it’s the perfect place and location. We both had the Bury Benedict, tasted brilliant, great portion size and very reasonable price. Exceptional service by both a lady and young man, who were both very friendly and kind. Table service too.
We stayed for a couple of ales, they have a great selection. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.
