Probably has the best beer garden in England. A disused bowling green with tables/parasols and a fantastic view of the hills all round. A group of four of us stayed in Ramsbottom for three nights. we noticed the pup while trying to find our hotel. We visited the pub on Saturday afternoon, Saturday & Sunday night. We were made so welcome by the Landlord, Landlady and their Daughter (and dog) A very good selection of well kept beers & lagers. Great surroundings and to boot a very good singer on the Saturday night + a few games of bingo. Pubs like this are hard to find and we were all glad we found this one. Good...read full review
