My husband and I attended an event here last week. We did not stay at the hotel. After leaving the event we were thankful for this. We were waiting so long for the lift, we eventually just walked up to the event room on the 8th floor. On arrival at the venue we proceeded to the bar to get a drink. There were at least 5 staff behind the bar but it was chaotic. It turns out there was a problem in the cellar, so there was no beer available on draught. It’s refreshing when people think outside of the box!! Stephen. What a legend, imagine walking into a restaurant, 20 people, asking if we can have food in an already fully booked venue at 8:30pm WELL!! This wasn’t a problem whatsoever, very transparent, he explained there would be a small wait and dependant on meals chosen there maybe a little more of a wait. A varied menu to suit all tastes, from snacks through to full 3 course meals, all freshly cooked with superb ingredients. Can be very busy when they have business events on in the hotel, but choose the right time and it is easy getting served.
