19 Mill Brow, Marple Bridge, StockportWe have been looking for a great country pub for a while and found the Hare & Hounds at Mill Brow Marple, lovely pub in a nice countryside setting, the food was excellent, very well presented, the Sunday Lunch is highly recommended, big thanks to the amazing staff who made our first, but definitely not our last visit a memorable experience, thank you all ?

The Fisherman's Table
103 Church Ln, Marple, StockportFabulous food, the best trout I've ever tasted. Beautifully fresh oysters. A gorgeous fillet steak provided for the non fish eater amongst us and no issues with adding/subtracting/changing items on the menu.

12 Stockport Rd, Marple, StockportSmall, intimate restaurant but very comfy. Staff were very attentive and knowledgeable in explaining the extensive menu and helping decide choices. It’s not often that there are so many dishes on a menu that I’d happily order. Everyone enjoyed their food. The chicken and prawn toast was particularly delicious. \nWhen we’d finished, everyone said they felt full but not uncomfortably so because the food is so tasty but not at all stodgy, which is rare. \nIt’s not cheap but worth it. \nJust one suggestion. The empty plates were brought out piping hot which is something I really appreciate when eating out or at home. But, as the food wasn’t brought till ten minutes later, they were completely cold by then! Waste of time warming them.

We love this coffee shop! Their coffee, well all drinks and food is our favourite. They serve such a great array of items that differ from other places. It’s the best! Plus it’s dog friendly ??☀️☀️

La Dolce Vita Restaurant Marple
27 Stockport Rd, Marple, StockportHow on earth this restaurant has 5 star reviews is a mystery. We visited for lunch. Not very busy, staff friendly but food was terrible. My companion had a risotto which as Ashe said was bland and lacked flavour. I had a cannelloni it was watery, ingredients were clumped together in lumps and it was bland. We were not offered a desert menu which is a shame as the deserts here are very good, usually! As for value, well it wasn’t dear but for quality and service it was over priced.

109c Stockport Rd, Marple, StockportSurprised at the reviews. Ordered on Uber eats because all the takeaways in Glossop are shite. Had Spaghetti Bolognese, chicken burger for my partner and the 4 season garlic bread which actually tastes like garlic. Not like the cardboard shite round here. Thank you guys. Will definitely be ordering again!

All Things Nice
48-50 Market St, Marple, StockportHad an afternoon tea last weekend, service is great and wasn't too busy. Sandwiches were awful, white bread stale and cold (out of a fridge). Ham & mustard with way too much mustard, pickled cucumber - spot the cucumber, smoked salmon which would have been good if it had been on fresh bread, same with the chicken option. Would have been better with mixed bread (brown/white) and fresh. Scones and cakes were lovely. Teas/coffees etc included in the price. Overcharged on the way out so had to go back in for a refund. Overall experience was good just a shame about the stale cheap white bread.

17A Hollins Ln, Marple, StockportNo idea why all the bad reviews and complaining about parking. We picked up an order here today and I can say we will be back. It was yummy hot, very filling and well priced. I loved their curry. No idea why people blame them for parking, right acorss the road is Asda you can park right there and just walk 5 meters it really isnt that hard.
