The setting is lovely and intimate, the staff are friendly, and prices are reasonable. Great selection of drinks too. Always busy, especially at weekends, so I’d recommend pre-booking. Street parking is available outside.

19 Mill Brow, Marple Bridge, StockportWe have been looking for a great country pub for a while and found the Hare & Hounds at Mill Brow Marple, lovely pub in a nice countryside setting, the food was excellent, very well presented, the Sunday Lunch is highly recommended, big thanks to the amazing staff who made our first, but definitely not our last visit a memorable experience, thank you all ?

Both times, the service was swift, the staff were polite and chatty and the food, as takeaways go was excellent. If you're ever in Marple, give this place a shot. It's totally worth it!

Had Spaghetti Bolognese, chicken burger for my partner and the 4 season garlic bread which actually tastes like garlic. Not like the cardboard shite round here. Thank you guys. It was yummy hot, very filling and well priced. I loved their curry. No idea why people blame them for parking, right acorss the road is Asda you can park right there and just walk 5 meters it really isnt that hard.

1A, The Hollins, Marple, StockportVery slow service, I waited 12 minutes to be served, and there were only 4 people in front of me. To be fair, the guy who served me apologised and was very pleasant and he was taking orders, cooking food and clearing tablets. Clearly more staff are required in this busy store. I think I'll stick to the independents from now on.
