Just want to say a huge thank you to Maida for the catering they provided for a big family get together over the weekend. We have been ordering take out from Maida Grill House a few times before and the food is absolutely delicious. Being in my early 40s now and having many Chinese takeaways over 3 decades, this is absolutely hands down our favourite Chinese and the only place we get from now!

As you can see in the pic the sweet and sour chicken melts in the mouth, very generous portions such as the salt and pepper chicken which is our favourite starter, super friendly and efficient staff and very reasonable prices, cannot recommend highly enough!

Great place for McDonald's pit stop. They are open until late hoursbof morning, have toilet facilities for all. They have drive thru and loads of parking available for eat in customers. Abit on the pricey side for the portion of food and the taste is abit bland.
Kobeda was super oily greasy and the naan was small and wafer thin and crispy in the middle - was literally snapping in the middle it was that thin. Why can’t they just make a normal naan with even thickness and softness throughout! Can’t be that hard.
Chicken tikka chunks were good sized but considering it was ordered and cooked in under 5 minutes no wonder it was chewy and undercooked. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside - it didn’t get finished.
Shawarma - oh my god worst thing so plain ans no flavour at all. Dry and unappetising - with out the sauces this would have been a struggle to eat.
Again all the naans were shocking just thick on the edges and millimetre thin throughout the main part of the naan.
Chips were nice but they just chips ! £3 chips
For 3 naans, chips and 2 drinks the bill was £28 which is too much for small quantity food and not feeling happy after eating.
Plenty of seating and tables, clean and parking nearby in Tesco free all the time.
Won’t be returning….

Thank you for the hospitality that I received when visiting your Media City restaurant last Friday for a pre-theatre meal. Food and Menu There is a simple menu that includes all the Italian and American classics that people love to eat. The choices are limited however it does cater for a range of diners from the Meat lover to the Vegetarian. In the Starters there is a Garlic Pizza Bread that is tasty with a great Garlic aroma. There is also American Style Nachos with Jalapeños and all the sauces to dip into. In addition, there is Calamari, Ribs and the Chicken Crunch too. In the Mains there is a great selection of Pizzas with good flavours. There are also additional toppings that you can add on for an extra charge. There is also a decent variety of Steak, Pasta, and Salad dishes for those that fancy them too. For the Burger fan there are some Beef Burgers and a Chicken Fillet one too. There is also a wide variety of sides that are a great addition to your meal from Chips, Sweet Potato Fries to Onion Rings and Garlic Bread too. For those with a sweet tooth then there is a selection of popular Desserts including the Warm Chocolate Brownie, Cheesecake and, Tiramisu that is creamy and indulgent to eat. If you like cold Desserts then there is Ice Cream and the Knicker Bocker Glory. For the Starters the Garlic Pizza Bread was tasty and moorish. It was soft in the middle with a bite on the edges. It was yummy. The Calamari was pleasant to eat but could have been cooked more as it was slightly rubbery to eat. For the Mains the Chicken Fillet Burger was perfectly cooked and it was beautifully presented. It was tasty and heart-warming to eat. The Salad and the Mayonnaise added more flavour. The Sweet Potato Fries were comforting to eat. They were crispy on the outside with soft fluffy Potato on the inside. I love how they are presented in a small pan dish. Cute. The Onion Rings were scrumptious. Their crispy batter was great on the outside with soft Onion pieces inside. It was a heart pleaser. For Dessert the Chocolate Brownie and Ice Cream was heavenly to eat. The Brownie was cooked superbly. It was not hard to eat but it was runny with gooey and indulgent Chocolate. Yum. The Ice Cream was great too as it cut through the richness of the Chocolate adding texture. It was also stunning in presentation in which the Chocolate Brownie is in the middle of the plate with a lovely scoop of Ice Cream on top. Drinks They have a good selection of soft drinks which include all the popular ones to have. There is also a small variety of juices on offer too. However they do not serve non-alcoholic Mocktails. Service The service was good. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and accommodating. She gave us the time to choose our dishes. Her suggestions for food were spot on. It was good that the food came out pretty quickly and it was beautifully presented. Lighting and Access The lighting at this restaurant was pretty bright which allows for an enjoyable meal for most people including those with visual impairments. Entry to this restaurant is at the Holiday Inn Hotel to which there is a small step to enter into the building. Once inside there are stairs and lifts to get to the Mezzazine floor. This is where you will find the restaurant. There are no stairs inside as it is on one level. Furniture The furniture here is brilliant. I love the big tables which are spacious. The chairs are big and are comfortable to sit on. This gives a relaxed ambiance so that you can dine in style. Parking Parking is available at the Quayside Media City UK multi-storey car park (formerly The Lowry). If you are a Blue Badge holder then you will get 4 free hours when stamping your ticket. This takes effect from the time of arrival. Alternatively you can park at the Media City multi-storey which is closer to the venue. Pricing The pricing of the dishes at this restaurant are mid- range. However it is worth visiting once a while especially if the waiters are good, the food is tasty and that it is beautifully presented. If you love to eat Italian and American food within

Deansgate and worth the walk I've been ordering here since Dec 2023 I always call up I've tried many different foods love the bacon sausage barn, burger and chips honestly staff are great it is busy because it's good and worth it. I had the privilege of eating there once and the food, service and ambiance were A+. I liked it so much that I tried returning twice, but although Google said it was open, both times they were closed. There was a polite notice with the opening dates, the first time due to a family holiday and the second due to a family bereavement. I fully appreciate this is a family business and that makes it all the more attractive for that reason. I would just suggest not getting your hopes too high as they close often as a result, and seem not to have backup options, which is fair being a family-run place. If I could advise the owners, I’d just suggest advertising this on your Google page so others like me don’t make plans to meet people there only to find it closed. I am also sorry for your family bereavement (for those viewing this comment, they’re now closed until the 27th of May) and hope to return and have a delicious breakfast, but I’ll also know to have backup plans. 4 starts due to this but otherwise deserves a 5 star.

I got a delivery so can’t rate the atmosphere but I can tell you that the food was absolutely delicious was also hot and ready to eat apart from the fried chicken but I didn’t mind.
Delivery was quick but was a bit pricey as I paid £25 in total for curry mutton rice and peas and coleslaw and fried chicken but that’s uber eats I guess.
But was delicious so THANK YOU

Ordered the special fried rice, the deep fried salt and pepper chicken, special fried rice and chips. Everything was delicious except for the chips. These had the taste and texture of reheated chips. First thing I noticed was that the staff were very nice, very friendly and dealing with some abusive customer who eventually moved on because no one was engaging with his nonsense.

I ordered the full English (large) for about 6 pounds. There's a smaller version for 4, but the large is twice the number of sausages, eggs. hash browns, bacon and toast. Worth it.

The food arrived quickly, nicely cooked and if I had one suggestion to the staff it would be that the plates should be hot. It will keep the food on the plate from cooling so quickly. Minor thing.

The breakfast was an all-day available option, and if it was any indication of what the rest of the menu was like, then it gets my recommendation.

When you normally visit a KFC you know what you’re going to get - not a great experience or quality - but you do it anyway because it scratches an itch.

But this one was a pleasant surprise. It was clean, the food was nice and the staff were friendly and polite.

There was a bit of a wait for our order and there was a slight mistake but that was due to us customising our order to remove mayo from one and lettuce from the other but this was easily fixed.

My daughter and I took the opportunity to have the Christmas stacker burger one last time and my vegetarian wife enjoyed the vegan burger.

Vegetarian options: There is a vegan burger that is made from Quorn but with the KFC signature coating.

The coated fries are really nice and they also do rice and salad options.

Since my review back in 2018, there were several negative comments.
We have used Captain Cod since the dry fried fish debarkle.
As I have cooked thousands of portions of deep fried items. (Retired Chef) I knew what I was talking about. It's difficult for any business to throw away £3:00 (estimated cost) £2:50/£3:00+ proffit.
Cooks in chip shops (once experienced) can deliver Fantastic Foods.
For 'Take-Aways' you are guessing flows of customers. The negative cost of Food Wastage has to be minimised. Sadly réchauffé of Food can result in a substandard product.

When we now go, we stay and wait for a Freshly Deep Fried Fish. Happy to wait for Freshly Fried Chips/Scollop.

Our Other favourite Fish n Chips Establishment is King Fisher on Parrin Lane, Winton. You receive a weight of fish. So sometimes 2 pieces as a portion.

Ordered online through Just Eat. The food arrived warm, packaged well and came with everything we ordered online. They also wrote on the packaging what the subs were and they put the sauces on for you here. At other subways we have experienced ordering online, they didn't label the subs and the sauces came in a clear plastic tub aswell as the subs which we requested toasted and expected to be warm on arrival were in fact cold. So this is the subway we will be ordering from again because they prepare and dispatch perfectly.
