This is one of the oldest pubs in England and I make it my mission to visit as many as I can whenever the opportunity arises. Normally, they tend to be very popular with visitors as well as locals, after all, historic pubs are one of the things that we are the world leaders in!! I have visited The angel in Andover a fair few times now. It is a traditional boozer. There is always music playing and a friendly atmosphere. There is a sitting area outside in the old court with table and chairs. They often do live music I believe. The building itself has so much character that comes with its age with a big fireplace.
