The service and the food were top class but the premises are in desperate need of a complete refit. Staff are making great effort to be welcoming and keep the place clean but have no chance to improve the impression when the carpets are in such a state. Will were return yes because of the quality not the ambience.
We arrived early very few people in pub/hotel. Relaxed atmosphere. Lunch was good, our room was large with large bathroom, but looking dated. My only gripe is there was only 1 tea bag we only noticed it in the morning for our cup of tea, we shared.
