This is my go-to chip shop. I normally go on a Saturday lunch time and there is a lady who is super nice and remembers me. The cardboard boxes get a bit soggy on the trip home, but they have not collapsed on me yet and its better for the environment. Battered sausage, cod and chips all good.Parking: Always lots of space
A couple of years ago, I complained about the soggy batter and white soft chips. I was contacted by their head office and was sent a voucher which I never used because who wants to eat badly again?HOWEVER, three months ago we decided to check if things had changed. Been back quite often since and it is now back to a great Fish and chip bar. Portions are good and tasty , plenty of nice brown dry chips that even have some crunch to them. Having recently moved here I have only just discovered this fish and chip shop. They sell a wide range of take aways apart from the usual fish and chips - chicken, burgers and pies are also available. They also have special deals. The food is is good with generous portions.
