My wife and myself are currently holidaying at Brockenhurst in the New Forest (staying at the lovely Cottage Lodge Hotel - Review to follow) - and earlier this evening we had an early supper at the nearby Snakecatcher Pub. Being relatively early diners we had the pick of tables and found a nice one towards the rear of the lounge. Would give 11/10 for food alone. I had a ham hock as a special, and it was exceptional. Staff were super friendly and made every effort to accommodate us, genuinely a 5 star experience in every way.

My husband and I were in Brockenhurst for a few days and popped into The Snakecatcher Pub for our evening meal. We were served by two young staff who were friendly and attentive. We were the only people at first maybe because it was a weekday and we were early. Our meal arrived quickly and it was enjoyable. The portions were large and the menu had a good varied selection.
