Whitsbury, FordingbridgeVery comfortable rooms, well appointed, peaceful location. The en-suite bathroom was lovely but quite small. The staff are very friendly, polite and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious, home cooked and fresh, overall a quality experience more in line with a hotel than a pub. We would go again!

The Royal Oak is quite simply outstanding. Faultless from start to finish and a true hidden gem — it’s hard to understate the level of excellence on display here ?. We visited as a large party for a birthday celebration ? and every single person left feeling exactly the same: blown away.
Each dish was divine ?. I started with the Scotch egg, which was genuinely life-changing good ??, followed by salmon and crayfish that was equally exceptional — beautifully cooked and full of flavour ??. Set in brilliant New Forest surroundings ?, this is an absolute must-visit and one of the best spots you could choose. Truly 5-star in every sense ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

High St, Woodgreen, FordingbridgeLovely little pub with fantastic service and hospitality. The range on the menu and on tap is small but all you need. We both had the pie with the rioja and it was absolutely 10/10. We live a 50 minute round trip from the pub but it's so worth the drive.

14 Bridge St, FordingbridgeWe didnt have food but came for drinks, lovely pub with a great outside area, rubber duck for sale and a quirky gift shop. Service was good, friendly staff and speedy too. Would recommend, will have to come back and try a roast as we saw some coming out and they looked lush.

Food was amazing and v good sized portion.
I would drive from Fareham whenever I want a doner.
Also, bought the kids pizza meal, and for the price, pizza and fries were larger than expected.

The Three Lions
Stuckton Rd, FordingbridgeOur first visit and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed a three course delicious meal. The Bobotie starter was just what I had enjoyed in South Africa, ribs cooked to perfection followed (with a squeeze) delicious syrup sponge pudding. Restaurant was immaculately clean and we received brilliant service from Charlotte and Anna, real assets to the business. We WILL be back?

Belindas really is a lovely bakery and cafe, a brilliant selection of sweet, savoury and beverages along with a friendly welcoming environment from the staff and to top it off lively decor and very clean.

All three pastries we tried for breakfast were excellent and the customer service was good.

Food is fried to order, so a bit of waiting may be required, but it comes out fresh and piping hot, and you can't grumble at that.
Only take cash, which is clearly advertised at the counter, but there's a cash machine just round the corner.
Can only review on our experience, but some of their reviews are frankly baffling. Everything is fried to order, so it's wrapped up very hot. Assuming the reviews saying food is cold must live miles away or have this shop mistaken for somewhere else. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, and this has always been my experience. I get the impression they wouldn't take any nonsense off people, so the entitled and the rude may not receive the same treatment as those who come in polite and respectful.
Been in this evening and we're now sat here happy, with full bellies.

Foresters Arms
Abbots Well Rd, FordingbridgeFood was amazing went back after an awful visit 3 years ago. New owners made us feel very welcome and the whole place was very inviting. This pub is very much in my heart as used to come here with my late husband. Will def be back with the rest of the family very soon. Keep up the good work your smashing it !

75 Shaftesbury St, FordingbridgeGood food, varied menu. Popular local restaurant for take-away and dining. Offers delivery service. Managed to get a table to eat in for two on a wet saturday, food arrived shortly after order. We were able to take leftovers home afterwards. Could do with a larger dessert range, but after the main course we didn't feel like one. Would definitely recommend to others.

7-9 Bridge St, FordingbridgeWe ordered from this restaurant for the first time today, supposedly under new management. The food was very pleasant, delicious, and the portion sizes were just right. The delivery was very fast, and everything arrived hot. I can only recommend it to everyone.
