Our second visit here tonight to see if it really is as good as it seemed first time. It definitely was!The staff are great, very friendly and efficient. The speed of service was just right. The atmosphere was very pleasant too.The food is absolutely delicious. Nothing to fault, the room was comfortable, comfortable bed, pillow & quilt, well equipped room from iron, trouser press, hairdryer, tea & coffee tray, plenty of storage and bathroom was great. Our first time eating a Sunday roast here today and wow, we will be back! Delicious minted lamb pie and mash and my partner had the bacon and lamb liver with mash and a platter of sharing veg and parsnips, the food was incredible and all local produce. Very friendly, welcoming staff who were attentive. No room for pudding but we will be back to try the crumble and sticky toffee pudding. Thank you.
