This a absolutely stunning venue, right on the waterfront. The food and cakes would make any foodie swoon. It's highly recommended and a must visit if you are in Portsmouth! I'm sure there is some interesting history to it as well.. as it is built into the old barracks in the hotwalls.
Hi four of us went here for lunch. The food was better than average, the place is lovely in the arches in old Portsmouth. There are plenty of staff however the service is very slow both waiting to get served at the door and once you are seated. Cleanliness was about average.

We opted for the Eggs Royale paired with a Latte and Breakfast Tea. Let me tell you it didn’t disappoint!! The hollandaise sauce was just perfect *chefs kiss* including the salmon, poached eggs and the muffins were easy to cut through - everything was well done!I also love the service here, staff are very attentive and friendly. Plus if you’re not already full the cake selection is pretty impressive too!
