I visited Mr Eddy’s Tea Room at Exbury Gardens on a rainy afternoon to get some lunch whilst visiting the gardens. It’s run by Little Kitchen Co, and having been to their bistro in Winchester I was hopeful it would be as good.There were some good elements to the lunch, and there was also some bad, overall it was more good than bad. We are members at Exbury Gardens so have the opportunity to go here quite a lot over the past few years. Nice cafe and the staff are friendly. I would say that this has become very expensive though. The rustic sausage roll is now over £5 and is about 5cm long. These used to be at least double the size and cheaper only last year. Baked potato was about the size of a tomato and equally expensive. Lovely lunch today at Exbury. Good that they have increased their range of gluten free choices since the last time we visited and now offer sandwiches, jackets & soup so Mrs S was very happy. Nice coffee, a cracking sausage roll & not too long to queue.
