The brewery bar has changed hands recently, and the changes seem to be very much for the better. We stopped visiting under previous management as the place was just dirty and not looked after. Service was awful. When we heard it was being taken over we decided to pop down for a drink. It just feels cleaner and more welcoming. Popped in for a quick drink Sunday lunchtime. Lovely warm welcome and lots of choice. We often find that on Sundays some pubs are less than welcoming as they are only interested in people dining in so it was nice to be able to relax and have a drink without feeling we were being rushed.

The Brewery bar has had a face lift and it looks good. When we visited there was live music which we enjoyed. I enjoyed my gin but my husband was a little bit disappointed with the real ale, he said that he has tasted better which is a shame.
