So pleased we stopped here, were just driving past and fancied lunch.Went inside and it's very cosy with nice fairy lights everywhere & lamps on, definitely my type of atmosphere, staff really welcoming, got a nice table, service was great, had 2 steak & Stilton pies,chips & veg, 2 pints of shandy, food was realy tasty, piping hot, plenty of choice as well, didn't have space for a desert which I was gutted about as had loads of my favourites.Would love to come here again if in...read full review

I have been to the Elm Tree many times. Lorraine the land lady goes above and beyond for her patrons. She has created a safe environment that a woman can go solo and feel safe to go and have a drink. She has great steak night speacials twice a week and great food other days. Great local pub.

Fabulous traditional Sunday roast, including cauliflower cheese and choice of veg and excellent roast potatoes, all served on hot plates, had the trio of meats, so a bit of each, no room for dessert. Very welcoming staff, will be back for sure
